Occupational Therapy evaluates individuals whose ability to function is impaired or threatened by disease or injury. The focus is to regain the individual’s highest functional level of independence. The procedures include exercises for strengthening, fine motor control, range of motion, neuro-muscular re-education, cognitive exercise, ADL and adaptive training, splinting and application of physical agents to relieve pain.
